In Taipei

This is a photo taken in Taipei, the night before we left for home. We met with Lucia and Anita (Gu), her son and his girlfriend (Hope it's OK with them -- I have not asked for permission). We plan to return this summer. Hope to see you all somewhere in Taiwan. --- Hueping

Weilong's chinese is real fluent. I wish my children could speak like him. My daughter is going to Taiwan this summer with the church for six weeks and hopefully her Chinese will improve.

Talking about haircut, my younger son did not have a haircut for almost six months when we were in Cambridge, England. He said did not trust anyone else but his old barber in Champaign. His hair was hanging on the shoulder and looked like Jackie Chen. He told us as soon as he arrived home
in America, he would have a haircut. But when he returned to Unihigh, all the girls loved his long hair and asked him not to cut it. He waited two more months, and when he finally had his first haircut in eight months, all the girls at school were disappointed.(The high school has only 300 students. Everybody knows everybody)

Ana, did you read about "my fortune teller" about Mr. Wang Chong-guan? Do you agree with my prediction?

Please say hi to your mom, wishing her healthy and happy birthday. I apprecite her generosity with me.

Lolita,

I've seen your 'fortune telling' about my hubby. you are right, he is the admiral of our house and the important thing that he has done ( and is going to do) is taking good care of the family :-)

梅瑾,

We miss you and the mountain club! Please say Hi to them for us. Hopefully we can join you this summer to climb another mountain.

Huei,

We will be in Taiwan till late July (23); definitely let's have a reunion, either in Taichung or Kaohisung (or even Taipei, if that's more convenient).
