Hi, girls,

If you just look at the legs, what do you see?

Legs of cranes?
Legs of egrets?
or legs of ballerinas?

Akamelon(不知是否這樣併)

Catalina and Rita:

I believe the correct spelling of Professor Liu's nick name is Agamemnon.
I don't have any memory of the poem. Maybe both of them are right. They
just said it in different occasions and classes.

One line I remember that Agamemnon mentioned was the epitaph of Yeats:
That is beautiful.

Another thing was in October, l971, Agamemnon announced that
the Nobel Prize winner in literature was
the Chilean poet, Pablo Neruda. He could not recite to us any of his poems
because he was a communist. What a pity! I wish I did not have to wait
until I went to Georgetwon to read Neruda's love poetry.

By the way, ladies, you must have watched the movie about his exile in Italy?
The Movie is called El Postino,( a candidate for Oscar Best Foreign Film in l998?).
It is one of the most marvellous movie I have ever watched.
I have seen it five times and strongly recommend it.
The soundtrack is fabulous.
