This is a blog for all of us -- girls who went to Wenzao College together in 1970. We were together for five wonderful years, trying to figure out who we were, what we wanted and what the whole world meant to us. Thirtyfive years later and 30 years after graduating from Wenzao, we had our 30th graduation reunion (2005) back in Wenzao. Here are some photos of the same youthful and lovely faces.
I hope we will keep this Blog alive for a long time! If you'd like to add any new photos and postings to the blog, just simply email me (in the States) or to Mahnhuey (Taiwan). We will add your materials to our GS blog.

Querida Aurora:
I still remember the tiny strawberries that you broght to me from your garden. That was the first time I saw such beautiful berries.
Last year, I was in Edingburg, Scotland, and as I walked down to the new town, I saw a used bookstore, called "Aurora". I bought some British poetry books and started talking to the owner. He showed me a book in Japanese , that he had mistaken it as Chinese. So, I volunteered to teach him some simple Chinese. At the end of our conversation, I asked him about the bus, and I found out that I did not have "Change" at all. He gave me 75 cents for the bus fare and told me that was for the Chinese lesson.
If you have a chance to visit Edingburg, please visit the bookstore called "Aurora" and ask him if he remembers his Chinese lesson.
By the way, do you still use your Spanish?

很慚愧的告訴妳們~ 我學過的西文 幾乎都快還給老師了! =P 雖然在加州偶爾還可以用到一點點....這裡老墨較多 每次他們知道我的名字 都很好奇, 以為我跟他們(南美人)有什麼關係?!
感謝妳的記憶力真的很好! 以前我家種的草莓雖然沒有現在市面上賣的大又香甜~ 卻能成為我們 teenage 成長中甜美回憶之一! ^_^
我至今還沒去過英國~ 如果有機會到妳說的城市的話,一定會去妳說的書店瞧瞧! (haha~ 看看用我的名字 能不能拿到一點 discount)
多年不見妳,近一年來很高興能夠從 佩玲forward 的E-mail 上拜讀妳的大作! 請繼續加油喔!

I did not know that you are in California. Which city do you live?
Actually I mentioned to the bookstore owner in Edingburg about my classmate "Aurora". You are the only one I know with this name. I am sure he will give you a big discount, especially if you offer him to teach him more advanced Chinese. He will pay you "Taxi" fee instead of bus.
I did not know that Catalina had shared my poems with so many classmates. Thanks, Catalina, for being my best PR.

Dear Lolita and Dear All,
目前我跟先生和女兒住在北加州 灣區的Alameda 這是一個小Town 靠近Oakland 附近的一個小島. 從住家走路十五分鐘左右就可以到海邊, 看到San Francisco Bay. 也位於Berkeley 的南邊(開車約25分鐘的距離),如果搭捷運(Bart)去"舊金山"的話 約40分鐘的車程. 算是很近了!
我們才搬來一年多, 蠻喜歡這裡的環境和氣候,夏天也不會太熱. 妳們如果有機會來北加州的話~ 請路過這裡看看喔! 我可以請妳們品嚐這裡遠近馳名的一家" Sushi House" 的壽司~ 口味很特別!
BTW: Lolita,我最喜歡妳在China Times 4/4/2006 寫的的那首詩"鎌倉彫鏡子"
妳的文筆細膩 以及真情的流露~ 真的好美! 也很另人感動!
& 今年校慶的同學會妳會回來參加嗎?!

It's great to hear from your. I tried to contact you last year when I was in Taiwan, but, of course, you had already moved to the States.

May I ask, who is Rita? German classmates have to agree with me, we don't necessary know your Spanish names. I think most of the German classmates forgot each other's German names. Am I right?

如果換成寫德文的名字, 我們西文組 可能也要猜半天 "她是誰呀?" 除非可以從相片中看出來! ( 還好班上只有我一個人姓 "江") 所以之前~ 我在名字後面 加上(小江)做參考.
除非用拼音直譯法,像妳的名字很容易讀出來 就知道是妳啦!

謝謝你的耐心, 我又長了一智, 學了一事.
We are now in Los Alamos, New Mexico. We moved from Champaign-Urbana Illinos(we had been there for 5 years)to New Mexico in 1984.
My husband has worked for the Los Alamos National Lab for 22 years. Recently he is thinking to take an offer from the Livermore Lab in northern California. Talk you later. Lih Lih-Jane
