The good old days

The entrance gate is still there; but the street scenes are the same anymore. Hope you all will send more photos -- both old and new.

文藻的俏佳人+ 文藻大門的"街景"彷佛走進了歷史古蹟.
依稀想到以前搭BUS上學 趕著在"糾察"登記之前衝進校門的情景.
還有曾經住在鳳山的小楊, 淑靜 & 雲美 不知道妳們可好?!

Today's Wenzao is not the same anymore; so Ana, be prepared! When I was visiting last year, it took me a while to get used to the tall buildings, crowds of students (they are everywhere!) and the neighborhood shops. I also missed the clean, shinny floors that Lao Wong worked so hard to maintain everyday.
There were only 1000 students when we were in Wenzao; now I think it reaches 8,000 (or more?).
And, yes, the green fields have been long gone!

It was quite shocking when I first arrived at school. I thought we were not supposed to be in the "city". Gosh! Can't believe what I saw. The modern buildings equipped w/Gym, book store, convient stores, coffee shop and tons of scooters and motorcycles.....Maybe the changes are for the better, but this gate, the rice field, open ditch will always be in my heart.

Feilee, I don't believe we saw each other after our graduation, right? It's been a good 30 some years. It is wonderful see you (and many "old" friends) on the blog.
Working at Wenzao last year, I often mentioned to my young students about the open rice fields and the simplicity of our lives at Wenzao. Those memories are within you and me and all of the GS5 friends.
