How to View this Blog

Dear Friends,

With more photos and writing entries added to this blog, the blog file is increasing; it will NOT show you all the photos in one screen. You'd need to use the right column (the dark area) and click on the previous postings or the archive icon to choose the articles/photos you'd like to view.

We will be moving into October, so all the photos posted this month will be stored in the September archive...

Happy viewing.

The good old days

Another old photo provided by Rita. From left to right: Rita, Isabel, Helga, Catalina, Blanquita and Mercedes (Wang Mi).
The entrance gate is still there; but the street scenes are the same anymore. Hope you all will send more photos -- both old and new.

With Father Deng

Amazing! Mahnhuey (Rita) emailed me this old photo and that brings back the memories of the old days. Rita, when was this photo taken? I believe it was a sunny day; we all went back for a reunion (after the graduation) and ran into Father Deng. Look how bare the background is. When you go back for the reunion this year, you will notice the whole school is surrounded by tall buildings.
From left to right: Helga, Blanquita, Isabel, Father Deng, Catalina, Rita and Ursula.

Thanks, Rita.

Two Lovely Ladies

Wow, I am so gald to post this photo -- two lovely ladies -- Margarita Wu and Teresa Hsu, with their better halves.
I have not seen Teresa since our graduation (31 years), and it's been a while since Margarita and I met (probably 12 years ago?) at Lolita's home.

Aurora, Chiang Huei-juan, sent me a recent photo of her family.

Share your old and new photos with us.

This was the graduating year. We were closer than ever, trying to hold on to the last semester before the "goodbye".

In the alley of Manhuey's home: (from left to right) Lin Lih-jane, Hue-ping, Lei Yung-mei, Ursula, Manhuey and Chang Jing-chun.
By the way, who know where Chang Jing-chun is now?

20th Birthday

This is a photo taken at Ai-hua's 20th birthday. Birthday girl, do you remember what your wish was?

Oh, those young, innocent days. Remember we worked so hard at those "sports festivals"!

We won! We won!

ah, those tree-climbing girls.

Images of our Youth

Ooops. Unfortunately, due to some tech problems, the old photos won't show without a password. So only I can see them! Hmmm, not that much fun.
I will keep trying until I post them all on the blog.

Be patient, girls.

In the meantime, send your digital photos to me. One that Ting Huei sent me got posted without problem. Huei, can you tell us how you stored and sent it? That may help us in the future.

cheers,

Isabel

What a lovely picture!
Ana (Ting Huei) sent this photo, taken last June at Lolita's home in Illinois. Five lovely ladies (seated) are Lolita, Ursula, Ana, Magarita and Rita (Mahnhuey). Three husbands in the back and, I believe, the young lady in the back is Ursula's daughter.

Send more of your photos, my friends!

Enjoy a piece of fresh, sweet sugarcane after a long hike.

Hey, it was a rare opportunity to have Helga visiting Kaoshiung! A wonderful, yet brief, gathering.

Hueping and Padre Pei at the Christmas party held by Wenzao College.

Arriving at the reunion site, the Teaching Building, Ku Jung-ru and Chang Mahnhuey were ready to have some fun.

Remember them? Chang Sui-hua, Li Ai-hua, Ken Jung-pu, Li Zheng-hua and Cheng Shu-cheng -- under the new Teaching Building at Wenzao.

Wu Peilin and Li Zheng-hua.

Another group photo with teachers.
Do you know our class had the largest turn-out? Impressive.

At a local cafe after the official reunion at college.

Do you Recognize everyone?

Chiu Mei-ju, Ken Jung-pu and Cheng Shu-cheng.

This is a blog for all of us -- girls who went to Wenzao College together in 1970. We were together for five wonderful years, trying to figure out who we were, what we wanted and what the whole world meant to us. Thirtyfive years later and 30 years after graduating from Wenzao, we had our 30th graduation reunion (2005) back in Wenzao. Here are some photos of the same youthful and lovely faces.

I hope we will keep this Blog alive for a long time! If you'd like to add any new photos and postings to the blog, just simply email me (in the States) or to Mahnhuey (Taiwan). We will add your materials to our GS blog.
